‘Don’t judge me’.
That sentence is so comical. But I can’t keep reading/hearing that..
We all judge and we all are judged. (I think I have written about this before)
Judging can be in a negative way, just like it can be in a positive way.
When you see something/someone, you already judge even before your mind notices it’s judging.. You judge if you like the color you are seeing or you don’t. It’s the do’s and don’ts. And it all has to do something with ‘You’ about something or someone.
How do you expect someone not to judge you if we human beings EXIST?
With that I mean that, no matter what you do, even if you don’t do anything at all and would hide in a dark room almost all day long… you are doing something which someone will have an opinion upon ,towards you or what you do.
If we would never ‘judge’ they would never be options and decisions to make.
But that is one of the hardest things that I find when it comes to spiritual practice. The ‘no judging part’. No matter what it is, if it’s a situation or a specific person.. whatever, we all judge. It’s so hard to simply take whatever life is giving you and just take it, accept it, not think about your personal opinion… if you like it, or don’t. Always as soon as it enters our 5 senses, it gets a definition, it gets an adjective for it… instead as simple as it sounds, but as hard as it is to do… simply let it BE what it IS.
It sounds easier than it actually is, but it’s easier than words make it sound.
Makes sense?
